I am a full time, full service licensed Realtor® and enjoy serving both sellers and buyers. At an early age it was apparent that working with and for others is what I do best. It is extremely rewarding to guide clients through the process, ensuring that their best interests are served. My previous career with the Federal Court system set the bar by requiring empathy for others, paying attention to detail and working through challenging circumstances. Retirement provided the long awaited opportunity to volunteer, and I found the perfect fit with the American Red Cross. Being able to personally provide needed assistance to those locally and around the country always leaves me feeling a little bit better about myself.

DEE DEE Cortez was born in San Antonio, Texas moved with her family many times during her childhood–from Untied States to Mexico and Panama to North Carolina, South Carolina, California, and various other locations. Though she didn't know it at the time, she was continuing to develop the people skills that would be invaluable throughout her life. You see DEE DEE takes pride in who she is, what she has accomplished, relationships she has built over the years. Her passion for helping buyers find the perfect home, people she can connect with. She identifies with the people and families who live in Corpus Christi. This area attracts a lot of families; the people who live here are passionate about their neighborhood and schools. We also have a naval air station nearby, so there is some regular turnover with families of the support staff and officers moving in and out. She loves to help people relocate to the area and sell when it's time for something new. Even when she is not busy working in her career, she is looking for ways to expand her knowledge–to acquire the skills she needs to reach her goals. DEE DEE takes every opportunity to read because she understands that true success comes with commitment to learning and personal growth. She enjoys the variety that a career in real estate affords and eagerly dives in to learning new skills – whether it's new technology or how best to serve her clients. She has a very strong working knowledge of the real estate. She's always happy to roll up her sleeves to get the Job done.

After graduation from the University of Texas with a BA in Liberal Arts degree in hand, Sissy Deane embarked on an interesting career as a travel agent and later became a licensed realtor. Her experience comes from over 100 successful residential sales and working with a variety of clients from Texas and beyond.

Sissy and her husband, Captain Mitch Deane, a (Professional Fishing and Hunting Guide) love to take in the natural beauty of South Texas and enjoy every advantage of living on the coast.
